A prelude

Well we've been in Munich for 3 hours and in that time we have finally got the sim card to work. Winner winner. Sitting outside the airport using their wifi is not an ideal start, especially with the cold  and windy weather that forced me to put on my jacket.

Let's take a step back in time. Prior to departure we tried out some app that helps to defeat jet lag. It puts you on a caffeine schedule and when you can have dark and bright light. Staying up until 1am with bright lights on is a bit weird, but I did manage 6 hours sleep from Singapore to Munich so maybe it's working. Or was it the sleeping tablet recommended to us by a flight attendant on our last holiday? Anyway, I've just had a revvies (caffeine-filled strip) and we are heading via train to our hotel to dump our bags, prior to a day of nothing in particular.

It's a little early in the holiday for toilet talk but I did carefully take a photo of the urinal in Changi airport, being careful not to get arrested.

It's a picture of a fly. Men are really easy to amuse.

Then on arrival in Munich, they had little pictures of lit candles in the urinals. Sorry, no pics for that one.
