Abu Dhabi to Paris

Flight number 2 got us to Paris with much food and little disturbance from babies. Got changed while waiting for our bags to turn up and those who put their money on me putting on my backup shirt inside out are winners.
Next in line was lining up to get our weekly train tickets and then it was off to go and meet Jeremy who was training in from England. Note to selves, never get caught in the middle of the carriage with all of your luggage as the trains will get full.
The Euro Star was on time, Jeremy collected and then it was on to another train for the second of what seemed like 100, or as they say here, Le 100, (I've picked up the language) times.
I have been to Europe enough times to know they like to mock tourists with much luggage by installing lots of stairs in their Metro systems. Coming off 2 flights where I may have done 75 steps all up, stairs with luggage are tough.
To our accommodation we went to dump our bags before heading off to fulfill our daily itinerary. Those of you who have read this blog before will not be surprised by our first destination.  Yep, my old nemesis, Markets. Well we did those markets, found the markets that we couldn't find and ladies and gentlemen (drumroll), Annette spent nothing. I fear that this is just a glitch of some sort in our time travel that will be rectified.
Did I mention that this mystery holiday also involves getting the Band back together? So far we have Riley, channelling his inner John Belushi, Tabitha,  Jeremy and Annette on board.
Anyway, we stopped for lunch to regain energy before finishing off the markets, doing a long long walk from point a to point b, buying groceries (I was not involved) and then eating a meal of baguettes, cheese and cured meats ( I didn't even know they were sick). 2 of our 5 crashed before dinner, while the other 3 crashed soon after.
It topped 30 degrees yesterday and I still haven't showered....but firstly shall try to figure out the puzzle of the coffee machine, the coffee paper filter thing, and the coffee.
Stay tuned people.
