Off to meet LeBron

After somehow fitting the new purchases in our bags, we had our last coffee mug full of cereal and frozen milk and left the hotel. At least the walk to the airport train with rapidly expanding bags must have helped with our rapidly expanding waistline. We caught 2 trains to the airport after getting kicked off one halfway through the journey for reasons unknown. Cityrail is alive and well in Chicago.

We grabbed some lunch for later, half stripped to get through security and headed for the short flight to Cleveland.

Our baggage turned up quickly but Annette's bag looked like it got into a fight and lost. The lock was gone, the zippers were half open and everything inside had been turned upside down.

We taxi'd to our hotel to save time, checked in and headed to the Rock n Roll hall of Fame. In the end we spent around 7 hours there. With half an hour to go we realised that Cleveland is in a different time zone, so we had to hurry through the last of the exhibitions that we had missed. It's an amazing place and the fact that I spent so long in a museum without slashing my wrists says something about this place. And what luck. The gift shop closed half an hour later so that I could further help the U.S economy.

In search of Hard Rock Cleveland we did our daily long distance walk and ate our first meal for 10 hours at 1020pm. It was somewhat underwhelming and we vowed, again, never to eat at a Hard Rock cafe again.

Lights off after midnight for a short sleep (I'm writing this at 530am) before the stress of picking up a hire car for the day.
