Dave's

I'm on the bed, red face from the sun, and sleepy. It was a big day. You all know about breakfast, so all I will say is that today it included fruit.
A one hour bus trip to Ba Na Hills and we were on the way to a quite unexpected day. I imagined some large hands and a bridge and a cable car ride. What we got was so much more. 1km above on the hilltop they have created something similar to a trip through Europe, only with temples, millions of flowers and a massive buffet lunch.
We started at the golden bridge. The bridge is golden, not the hands.
I really don't know how to describe it. There was a massive buffet (but there always is).
Maybe I will take a leaf out of The Faces and Every Picture Tells a Story (one of the top 10 intros of all time, by the way).
Perhaps the editor can say something  ...... The tour guide called it the Vietnamese Disneyland.
We finally got back to our hotel (the Rosemary I'd recommend if you are ever in town). It's very nice. We did nothing for a while and then walked down our road (literally for much of the time), in search of banh mi. Just something light. 25 minutes later we looked across the road and there was an old Vietnamese man with a cigarette in his hand. I think this was Dave. He sat us down on tiny chairs at a tiny table and made our dinner. Trevor's? No. Nigel's? No. I suspect he went through a lot of names before becoming Dave. I'm glad that he did. $4 well spent.
An ice cream at the local mini mart topped off a very long day.
