Whilst some of our group got onto a bus at 0730 in the morning for a 6 hour bus trip to Cambodia, the rest of us boarded our bus to the airport at 10. We fought through customs, an evil rude Italian woman (who ended up as my seating buddy on the smallish propeller driven plane). Luckily my shirt, especially my left armpit, were not smelling too good by plane time, and I'm sure she got a good whiff when I leaned across to get my free cup of water.
Anyway, the 6 hour bus ride people arrived 1 minute earlier than the plane people. Traffic is back to insane.
Then we rushed out to find ..... a fabric market. This walk was possibly worse than in Hanoi as crossing roads was a serious problem.
We arrived just as most of the stores were shutting down. So we left for our hotel, only to find that google maps wasn't working. I reasoned that we walked there facing the sun, so we do the opposite to get back. We walked aimlessly until I noticed a couple of people from our group. We had almost made it back. With our bearings back on track, I headed back to buy some nice "genuine" Adidas golf shirts.
Annette hit the pool, and me a treadmill on our return
before hitting Kung Fu BBQ. They cooked at our table for about an hour while we ate meat after meat after vegetables after meat repeat. So much food.
