Yogi Berra

Just like there are always songs popping in and out of my head, sometimes other useless, or perhaps not useless, information takes over. You be the judge. Yogi was a Yankee (the baseball team, but you knew that didn't you?), in the 40s to 60s. He was famous for his baseball and his quotes. One such quote was along the lines of "when you see a fork in the road, take it". The following is why I am writing this.
Now to the facts. I honestly rarely know what I'm doing on holidays. I just turn up. We are in Siem Reap, which is famous for its temples at Angkor Wat. We visited three yesterday. Pretty amazing stuff and kicked European Cathedrals arses by a long way. It was good to leave at 0830.
There were temples with faces and steep stairs, temples from movies (Tomb Raider), old temples, temples with trees growing through them. We only saw 3, so some attributes were shared. There were monkeys and I saw a snake. We had a very nice lunch in the middle of it all and as tour days go, this was at the top of the list.At the end of a long day it's always good to have a relaxing dip in the pool ... or you can be an idiot and run 8km on a treadmill.
We headed to town to have dinner with the group. I had the kung pow chicken because of Seinfeld and Annette finished with Fried ice cream because that's what she does. It was served on a piece of toast, just to enhance the mysteryWe shared a tuk tuk back to hotel. Not as crazy as the others, but still interesting.
