In no particular order we visited everything........I really need to try harder than that.
Dublin is full of people. Writer's block.
Ok we did 17000 steps so must have gone somewhere. We saw churches, visited jewellery shops, stood in line for the Book of Kells before deciding that later for free was better than now and paying. Today was the one night a year when doors were opened late and paying not required. We took advantage. I do recall a library as well. There was also a frantic dash to the Queen of Tarts, a cake shop of sorts I imagine, as I stayed strong and took the Pepsi Max option instead. Home cooked meal where butter was the hero in the cooking of carrots.
Early to bed worked out to be after 11pm in preparation for 4.50 wake up call. I did manage to download an app and order a taxi to the airport. The thought of walking to catch a bus that early just seemed crazy. I feel that I will come back to Ireland one day with golf clubs by my side.
See you next year Claire, and you really don't want to hear the Bob Bugtussle Band album, even though listening to Jeremy sing has trained your ears to bad music.
