A much needed late start gave us time to pack our Irish Bag before once more climbing the millions of stairs that are the Tube. We caught a different line to Greenwich. And wouldn't you know it, there were markets. While waiting for Jeremy and Claire I did manage to purchase a rare Bruce Springsteen CD as a surprise Christmas present for Annette. We played it the next day when Irish radio made us sad. Walked around and saw the cutty sark, the meridian line, walked in the tunnel under the Thames and scored the best table for another pub lunch. I did score a pair of Levis at the market, exactly the same as the ones I had on while Blue Jeans by Neil Diamond played on the radio.
With a 15kg limit on Ryan air, we needed to store our excess luggage somewhere and Candi's house at East Putney was the place. We even scored some cookies made by Riley and their anniversary chocolate cake. Then it was back home to pack up and get ready for our 4.30am wake up call.
