Accused

Accused of turning the cabin light on (the light had been put on by the conductor because that's what they do), it was time to go to the toilet at the end of the carriage. It was locked. I waited and waited. I gave up. I could hold it in. Walked back to our cabin at the other end of the carriage and discovered a previously unnoticed toilet. It was occupied. Sigh.
Last night I did get some sleep but kept waking to different podcasts playing in my ears. Breakfast arrived 45 minutes prior to arrival. Bread rolls, butter, jam and honey, a wafer, apple juice and a coffee. I wonder where the wafer is because I have yet to eat it.
We arrived in Prague. I'm sure there were still people in pyjamas that the conductor was trying to get off the train. Note: Always remember to charge your power bank before you get on the train because the power outlets on board are rubbish.
We found the luggage storage place quickly, got rid of 2 bags and headed out for the day until our 3pm check in. That was over 6 hours away. We slowly ticked off the things to see, had a ridiculously-sized and priced dessert whose name escapes me (chimney cake). This turned out to be lunch.
We arrived at the shop to get the dessert, and of course a cup of tea, at 09:50.
They didn't open until 10. We got back at 10:10 but they weren't open as their cash register wasn't working. Second cash register incident in 2 days. Then, when they finally did open, it was revealed that, despite signals stating otherwise, a cup of tea was not an option. Annette doesn't swear, but her angry, sarcastic, mean voice could be worse.
We ate our chimney cake on a bench, watched a pigeon knock over a woman and twice watched the astronomical clock from the side and missed the main part of whatever happens (it gets really crowded at the front).
We made our way to the river, sat on a bench, saw a couple get engaged all whilst wondering if this is where INXS filmed 'Never Tear Us Apart'.
The potential lack of sleep plus carrying backpacks all day were taking its toll.
Eventually we got back to pick up our bags at the station, which was now packed. We went in to a supermarket to get supplies. Every other person had the same idea. The aisles were tiny, the shop was full, yet a little old lady walked around with a mechanical floor cleaner the entire time we were there and pretty much kept aiming at us. Oh, I forgot that we got half price tickets to go up the Powder Tower for the first hour of opening.
We finally found the luggage storage and headed outside for our 5 minute walk to our apartment. It turned into 10 minutes and rained the entire time. Our luggage is not waterproof, we discovered. The plan was to relax, make dinner and go for a walk. The walk was replaced by TV and sleeping.
