The bus stop was just up the road according to Google maps. There was a train station, many trams, but no buses to be seen. So we caught a train, got off and headed for Liechtenstein Castle.
The funny thing about castles is they are quite often on the top of very big hills. Today was no exception, but we needed the steps and elevation to keep up with the mid 20,000 we have been doing daily.
Castles are good and those with a free toilet in the courtyard are better. While you see a chance, take it. This was not the song I thought I would reference in this part of the world.
Castle pics done, it was downhill to look for another phantom bus stop. Eventually we found a bus stop and to the palace we went. It was my job to alert us to the correct stop. Between naps and looking at the top instead of the botton of the onboard screen, we missed our stop. But we needed the steps.
The gardens were pricey and having purchased tickets we walked straight in with nobody checking our tickets. Then we found a turnstile into a maze. It was pretty lame but I did pick up a trophy, fought Voldermort and took Cedric Diggory's body back to Hogwarts.
Google maps then sent us in many wrong directions until we finally got on a train.
Then the scary part. Whilst Annette visited an art gallery, I had to take my weary self back to the hotel via tram and walking. I actually made it, crashed on the bed, before waking up and doing a guilt gym session.
Food was good. Hooray for reviews on Trip Advisor. Sleep time. Holidays are hard.
I tried really hard, but never found the appropriate spot for "this means nothing to me".
