Berlin to Frankfurt

Despite my concerns, the train we had booked, the ICE, was not deporting us to El Salvador, but rather to Frankfurt.

The train was excellent (German technology). We arrived and made our way to the hotel. We are staying at the Holiday Inn as it's just a 2 nighter (and it was cheap).

Seems as though we are on the seedy side of town. Many shady people sitting on the ground in the streets, drug deals happening. It's a bit unnerving. 

We went for a walk and Google took us through about 4 blocks of not the nicest area and people we have seen on the holiday. Berlin had a few but not to this extent.

We saw a river, church and bridge. This is Europe so you could have guessed that.
